Letter In My Hand
This is the only memory I have feltA letter written to say your goodbyes
As I have it in my hand and remember that time
Where our lives were shattered and tour apart
For the fact we'll be apart for a long time
I stand in the way same place where
We had shed some tears as we bid adieu
Still it seems to be real and painful
To be so unaware and unsure of our future
If we'll still be together as the time flies.
Now I returned and inspect the changes
Still holding as to the memories for support
So much changes but I hope you haven't
This letter in my hand serves as proof
That I remained the same throughout the years
Here I see you, lovely as ever
A lot of changes in you occur but I hope
Your heart didn't change and you waited for me
So scared to know the truth for
What it will bring make change my heart.
So nervous to start our conversation right
A lot of minutes passed, we're still silent
We both started talking at the same time
Then laugh at the coincidence it brings
That smile is beautiful as ever.
And again we were silent again
Then you smiled and flash something in your hand
I see it but I cannot believe it
You hold my letter of advice to you
I figured out that you might notice too
Your letter in the palm of my hand
Right at that moment we just knew
Our hearts still long for each other
Thankful to the destiny that brought us together
Our loyal hearts that kept us together
So thankful for the stars and the heavens
Same mind, same heart that keeps us one
Even after a long time that seems everlasting
We remained the same, happy and in love
